It's My Fault For Trusting You
I guess you could say it's my fault,
that I'm some kind of masochist.
And I guess I'd say you're right;
after all, I keep letting you hurt me.
You said it best when you said that
I trust you after everything you did,
for no reason whatsoever.
And now I'm shedding tears,
(yes for you, yes again)
but now they're tears of hate,
of bitterness, of regret.
I promise not to trust you,
not now, not ever.
I'm tired of getting clobbered,
so now if I get hurt at all,
you can't even try to blame me.
