In My Heart
I sit at night in a room alone,
A room that's dark and cold.
My soft cries drown out every sound,
Suddenly I hear you whisper aloud,
By your presence, I'm comforted now.
In the midst of the darkness, I see your face,
While love fills this empty place.
You wipe away my sorrowful tears,
I don't feel alone now that you're here.
You softly whisper unto me that you truly love me,
And now I'm happy as can be.
I've now accepted you into my heart,
And never will I let you out.
