Age is irrelevant, because time is just a measurement!

He sweeps through the night on a chariot of shadows;
His tears drip like ink upon the world;
His sorrow leaves all in mourning
In mirrored pools of coal-black swirl.
The brightest light cannot pierce his sorrow,
And none can imagine his heart so hollow.
When asked one day why he killed so much,
He could only reply:
"I am Death; what they took from me was life. If I cannot experience their gladness, then everyone must die!"

The author's comments:
I was just sitting there on my bed, and I wondered what it must be like to be the angel of death, or death itself. This is what came of that. I hope you find something inspiring from its spidery tangles.

Ooh, I love this!

I especially like the beat and the flow at the beginning.

At the end the beat is a little off- I'm not sure if that was intentional or not.

But anyway, I really enjoyed it!

I hope you keep writing!
