Freedom of Immortality
Joe Black strikes again
Who knew it would happen this soon?
The pallor of death seems to cling to us
Sadness around every turn
Memories with each footfall
I cross that line and look to see her smiling
And collapse because I forgot again
I dream of my father giving me away
And sob because she doesn’t have that chance
How do you grow up without a mom or a dad?
How do you live with the guilt that it was YOUR car?
How do you live with the fact that there was NOTHING you could do?
Two lives gone
Never to be returned to us
But there is hope and with that comes freedom
Freedom to live and love again
Life calls for tears right now but someday
It will call for laughter, its okay to laugh again
Keep their memories alive
And through you, through me and through my team
We will give them the freedom of Immortality
