Their Secret
They think they're so smart,
They imagine they are the best,
Like they have nothing to worry about,
They assume the world orbits around them,
But what they don’t know,
Is that the world is bigger than just them.
They need to awake from their fantasy world.
I tell them, “You are not the only ones in this world.”
They tell me that they’re hiding what they really feel.
So others won’t see their pain.
I can see right through their undertaking.
I can see all their pain.
The same pain that I have,
We all become friends,
And help each other with our problems.
We start to be encircled by darkness
As we admit our deepest, darkest secrets.
We try to fix all the problems that we have.
We fix all but one.
The BIGGEST one.
The DARKEST one.
It’s hard to fix this one
We believe it might be too big,
Too dark of a secret
But we are prepared, to let it out.
To shout it to the world
