Gazing At The Stars
She swings out of the stars
and onto her own two feet
Running off the grass
sprinting into the street
She ran through the woods
and into his arms
The whole run there
her heart heard alarms
So in his arms
she now lay
on a bright bright
sunny day
Then as day drifts to night
she gazes at the light
When the moon slowly sings her
to sleep
She dreamed she was running
then looking off a tall ledge
All of a sudden
she takes a big leap
She doesn't land on the ground
or into his arms
But instead she lays on the grass
in his arms
smiling
gazing at the stars
