Forbidden Fruit
Juices
Dribbling down
My chin,
It chews, quivering,
At the honey suckle taste,
Of the sun.
Slight sweetness,
Tinged, with resentment.
Tingling taste
Prolonged rebellion
On the palette
Of my tongue.
… To eat
Or not to eat…
Poisonous toxins
Delicious
Intriguing
Dangerous,
Laying in the shade,
Skulls, the color of green
Dropping in my lap.
