Place I belong
I live in a house
That’s not a home
But for some reason
It’s where I belong
I walk in everyday
And it’s a comfortable place
But when everyone comes in
I run to my hiding place
In my room
I’m safe and sound
But only with the doors locked
And no one around
Yet when a knock comes on my door
I shudder in fear
And scream in my head
“God just get me out of here”
They want me to be apart
Of this f****d up family
When all I really want
Is to just get out of here
Leave me be
Leave me alone
Why is this the
f****** place I belong
