How can i survive
How can I survive when the world is how it is.
There’s angry people here and there.
There’s misery everywhere.
Poverty and hunger elsewhere.
We all want the best,
We all want more than what we can really get.
How can I go about in this world?
Everything I want to do.
Everything I can’t.
Always pushed and rubbed in my face.
I believe the world has a chance.
Do we?
How can we, when we go about putting red tape
Around for everyone else.
We can’t even help ourselves,
How can we survive?
We destroy the world
Simply by destroying ourselves.
Progress or destruction, you tell me.
All I have to say is
eventually we won’t survive!

No kiddin'. I totally agree with this. People put too many limits on what you can and cannot do. It's like 'dicourage all' is imprinted on some people's DNA.
The last line was very powerful and a great way to end this. It's good to leave the reader with a question to ponder, if magnifies the effect of the story. Your line of "Do we" has the same effect too, and is in some ways an even better question to ask.
The only advice I could give to this poem, is maybe a little attitude. This is very solemn, but with all of this the narrartor is saying, all of his views being expressed, where's the emotion? Isn't he mad at the people who do this? Mortifies to be the same species?
Anwya, good job, 5 stars!
