Not Sure Why

I'm not sure why I continue to fall,
even when I know how to stop.
I keep on wishing for it all,
though I realize one day it'll flop.
I can see it'll never happen;
even I'm not that dumb.
But I continue to hope that one day when...
Though I know that day'll never come.
My mind spins in circles, thinking of you;
love and hate, it's all the same.
I just hope that one of these thoughts I have will be true,
though I'm pretty sure that they already came.
