Nice To Finally Meet You
Here we are face to face,
how dare you
call me a disgrace?
years in the making and I am
not what you want to see.
A rose, I brought you a rose.
It's beautiful, right?
yet-not the beauty you chose.
years in the making and I am
not what you wish to be.
Fruit, only the finest,
It's the best I could find.
but you sir, are not the kindest
sixteen years in the making and I
only wish to flee.
Here we are face to face,
my future am I a disgrace?
for years I've been hoping
to be
nothing of the sort.
