burst
They told me to describe it
To dissect every feeling
Every emotion
Every fiber of my being
They said if I didn’t,
I would bubble
And I would burst
So here it goes…
It’s a terrifying beauty
It’s a twisted thought
It’s a dimming brightness
It’s growing
Made me feel
Traumatized
Trapped
Fulfilled
It smothered any feeling
And demolished
Any fear of darkness
The mere maggots
Were glowing
And the filth they were growing in
Intrigued me
I had no motivation for escaping
I was building a new life
And I needed no population
I was alone
And I liked it
I fell in love with the idea
Of darkness
And tonight
I haven chosen to bubble
I have chosen to burst
