Criminal of Heart
You came in disguise; you played the game to a T. You played me like a fiddle and made me believe. You stayed around through it all lurking, waiting for the perfect moment. You secured your crime with the perfect alibi of true love. When time came near you did your job perfectly. Your first move was trust, your second was lust, and you moved on to the true gem, the heart. Now cupid has your head for bounty, and you’re on the run with my heart. I should have been smart and seen your disguise and notice your tricks. I should have felt my heart being torn, but I guess love is blind and so am I.
