Venom
I've been beaten,
like the wind's sharp fist pounding against weak cloth
chilling my bones to a numb infinity.
And you smile. One blow after another.
Can't you see?
You're breaking me down, along with everyone around you.
I need you.
You're supposed to help me, tell me we'll get through this.
Together, we'll get through this.
But you've chosen to shatter the glass,
piercing everyone with its fragments.
Your venom stings.
