With a Smile To Go
The water hose,
It tickles your toes
As the water runs down the sidewalk
Roads.
And the colors blend
From your newly drawn
Chalk
You almost fall,
In your attempt to watch where you
Walk
Trolling behind
With a mug in hand
And a smile to go-
Hey mom, it's you! Look what I
Can do!
She does a somersault through
The air and into the grass
Ahh, she said,
My feet are free at last.*
