What I Want Most

Would you catch me if I fell
Or if I merrily slipped
What if I ran and jumped
Could you dive off that cliff?
Perhaps if I were drowning
If I simply could not swim
What if I had wanted this
Could you let me relieve what lie within?
If I hated this world
If I hated myself
If I told you I loved you
It was because I had zero doubt
That you would return it
And sacrifice for me anything
Could you let me have the one thing I wanted most?
To escape the world of everything.
