When the lights go out
And the people are gone
It’s you and I alone
When the sky is dark
And the sounds are silenced
It’s you and I alone
When I shut it out
And I see what I choose
I leave myself alone
You hold my deepest fears
My regrets as well
Making me feel alone
A hallowed screech
Among a hardy roar
No one knows I am alone
When will I be found
How will I be survived
If all I ever was, is alone.
