When Fate is Against You
~When fate is against you,
You prove it wrong~
Once upon a time,
A boy loved a girl
And she loved him too.
But there was just one problem,
She didn't believe
in love.
He made her happy
And everyone envied what they had.
But no one knew.
That girl...
She had experienced death,
of one's heart.
She had seen misery
She had crossed the breaking point;
the point where you cry
And cry
And cry.
And no one knew.
What did Romeo and Juliet know?
They too were double-crossed,
by fate.
But how could their love
be so true,
in but a week?
She had dealt with the agony
for months
She tried so hard to listen.
Fate told her to let go of him
But Still she held on,
for dear life.
When she didn't have him,
her body shook
And she couldn't speak
Couldn't eat
Couldn't sleep.
But no one knew.
All her life she trusted fate
but now it had done her wrong
So, she went back to him
And now they're happy
Now, she trusts love over fate.
They listen to people say,
"Why can't I have that?"
But they don't know
the pain she endured,
for so long
How many countless tears
flooded her eyes
How many times her chest felt
so heavy it was going to implode.
No one knows.
And they probably never will.
They'll keep on saying,
"I want that,"
And it won't matter.
Nothing in the past
Will exist
Because her happiness
is now a force that's impenitrable
~When fate was against me,
I proved it wrong~
