We Die When The Clock Fades
Suffering guilt pain and shame
Do the dirt then suffer the loss
Justify it then shift the blame
Then it will all become my fault
Draw away from me gradually
Built a barrier between us
don’t forget to change your story
don’t forget to point the finger.
You cling to hearts that are deep beneath
The homeland on which you’ve been walking
The truth never lies but never speaks
So let the tombstones do the talking
You could never write a rhyme like me
And I could never write like time vampire
But I’m a bit weary from years of no sleep
I hope you think of me in your darkest hour
This heart has never tasted love
So let this love our hearts devour
And if our time does not swallow
Then let us sink beneath our final hour.

I really, really, REALLY like most of the poem except the third stanza because of this line
"And I could never write like time vampire/"
What does that mean? And what's a time vampire?
This feels like it should be from a perspective of a girl because for some reason, this poem reminds me of Adele. Do you like her music? I LOVE her music!
