Lonely Ghosts
When the walls came down,
you wouldn’t let me in.
I tried to amplify the sound of light and love.
But it failed,
like a twisted metal car.
So I sit and listen to the sound of sad war,
the weekend wars.
It’s difficult to win,
unless you’re bored.
So I don’t have to look,
or think too much.
The one’s we trusted the most,
pushed us far away.
There’s not one road,
we should not be the same.
But I’m just a ghost,
and still they all echo me
