Take My Transparency
Quiet the thrumming of your heart
Still the blood in your veins to become one with the world.
Pressing your ear to the ground, can you hear the insects crawl?
If you're quiet you can feel the living of us all;
Out livelihoods sprung out the soles of our shoes
Our shadows spreading out our souls upon the dirt
With the sunlight shining down to touch a softly broken earth.
We are slipping silently through each other's dreams
While on the moss our sleeping shells, from which our minds take leave
Shall rest and seep like tea into the ground's dark earthen seams
And all our thoughts shall now romance in our transparency.
