Wish, Wish, Wish.
Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight.
I wish on shooting stars
I wish when it's 11:11.
I wish when there's no point in wishes
I wish.
I close my eyes.
And my heart pounds
The days without you are too long
Wish.
I wish I had you with me.
Open my eyes.
I'm alone,
Still.
The quietness eats me alive
So I go outside
And sit on the balcony
And one lonely star
Is un-masked from the clouds
Wish.
I wish that my love
Won't hurt me this time.
But what is that I feel?
Pain.
It hurts me so much.
It's like a festering wound
that won't heal,
whenever you're away.
It's time for bed
When the hours drag on in agony
Sleep should be my haven.
But no.
Now it hurts more
Good-night, mi amor.
You're asleep
I should be too.
But,
I cry.
Because the loneliness
is a dagger
And it hurts.
So, I wish.
I wish I could see you.
But a week goes by
I'm still alone
Each day we say to eachother,
"I miss you,"
"I love you,"
"I need you."
Everyday we say,
"I wish I could see you,"
But we're both still alone
Wish
Wish
Wish
I wish.
Star light
Star bright
Can I see my love tonight?
