Adventure You
Shock-tart struck
my eyes spiral inside out
reeling in the being
of you.
Oh I'm thoroughly swept away
can you feel the danger?
I've already lost my feet in the sand.
To stop and laugh at myself would be appropriate--
I mean, do I look like I'm making sense?
no.
but smiling preoccupies me.
I am thoughtlost, memoryrained.
You seeped through my skin like so many
sunsets when you called me your sunrise.
Cornfields of starlight
midnight summer roads
lost with open windows
barefoot wanderlust.
bring the keys, unlock my smile, be my soundtrack.
logical not, ridiculous definitely.
But can you please share my adventure?
