The Enemy
Oh Good, I am you enemy;
My name is Great and I have looked beyond the Beyond
And have seen where your sidewalk ends;
I have seen exactly where yours stops,
And I know exactly where mine begins.
The unchanging twinkling of your stars
Will soon be out-shined by a much greater light;
It is time to say hello to the Great Day,
And good bye to the Good Night.

Woah, my mind is blown. I hope it won't offend you to share this with some fellow poet-enthusiasts.
"And have seen where your sidewalk ends;/I know exactly where yours stops./ and I know exactly where mine begins.
Some of my new favorite poetry, ever. Great use of repetition. Keep it up!
