Rejected From His Heart
The night air seeps through my windows
The curtains blow
The air feels cold and fresh against my burning cheeks
The hot tears are streaming down my face
I try to think about something except him
Anything except him
But every memory of us comes
rushing back
The past refuses to leave me
I scream his name into the wind
I lay my head against the wall
The room is dark
I am once again
Alone
