Scars
I feel like when i walk down the hall
All anyone can see
Are my scars
the shame in my eyes
last night i bled
just a drop but enough to make me cry
my sin, my guilt
embodied in one form
a single drop
of real, red blood
people look me in the eyes
and they see my scars
i feel so
Unbeautiful
How could someone ever love
a person so scarred?
Who would be so cruel
as to look in my eyes
and tell me i'm beautiful?
Who could be so kind
as to mend a battered soul?
i'm left alone
my heart still broken
covered in
my scars
