My eyes search through closed lids
Search for you between cream haze
Swirls of color yet without name
And people absent of face
I search for you
From claws that grope
And tongues that pine
I search for you
False hearts
Candy coatings
Fake smiles
Through it all
I search for you
Only you can end my hunt
With golden smile and eyes so pure
But until that day
