You cross my mind everyday
Can't get you out
People talk to you
Try and change your mind
But I know how thing's are going to end
No better then they were before
No matter how bad I wish they'd change
They won't
Because I'm just me
And you'll always be you
The smallest of spaces is what holds us apart
Can't quite reach
So I can pray
I can wish and I can hope
but in the end
I'll be standing here
And you'll be standing there
We could have made it
But you stopped trying
