Ahh, Mediocrity
I’m not trying to sound deep.
I’m seriously spooked, shaken to the point of trepidation.
No, I haven’t seen a ghastly specter, nor a frightful black widow.
The thing that makes me this way is the watching.
Hundreds of thousands of eyes watching and assessing and evaluating my every move.
Making it so that what was a mere couple of seconds becomes centuries.
Maybe I’ll trip down the isle, fall down the stairs, accidenty flash the audience.
It’s times like these I wish I was an underachiever, someone not aware of the desperation and expectations of one’s parents.
Yeah, that would’ve been a very jolly life.
