My Imagination
My imagination that runs wild
Like a puppy or a child
Cotton candy clouds and Gumdrop Mountains
Minty grass and chocolate covered fountains
Raindrops that fall with laughter and a giggle
Blue Jello River jump in and watch it wiggle
Coconut snow flakes and liquorish trees
Red fire ball ants and purple spotted bees
All the animals can sing a melody
No other place I’d want to be
All the Swedish fish swim around
Imagination doesn’t make me frown
Mom why don’t you come down
Run away forever from your spouse
Just close your eyes and go to sleep
And forever you will be free to creep
You need a place where you won’t weep
For I know dad had cut you deep
So stay with me forever
And you’ll never cry, never
