Freedom, Freedom
Bloody beach

Children, Children
Ours to teach

Bomber, Bomber
In the crowd

Silence, Silence
Ever proud

Oceans, Oceans
Empty shore
Empty Earth forever more

Hmmmmm.... yeah I could see that. Either way, it was fabulous. Thanks for explaining.

So I was thinking that freedom always has a price. In this case the price was the ultimate, death. Not just one death but the death of the world.

Wow... it goes like a creeping nursery rhyme. Gave me chills. The only thing was that I didn't understand how an "empty world" fit in with fighting for freedom. I know not everything in poetry is supposed to be completely within the reader's grasp, but I am curious to see what you were thinking with that.
