The Magic Night
Silver sounds sparkling around,
Cutting the silence in slices.
Whistling laughter,
Bright little eyes.
The rustling of tiny wings
Fills the trees.
The moon is admiring herself
In the glass-like surface of the lake.
Once a year,
Since long before the birth that has changed the humanity,
Thes? drops of moonlight
Come together
To celebrate their night.
They recall the times,
When they ruled the world of souls,
And they weep with grief,
Helpless and weak.
But the music of starry night
Overtakes their sorrow,
And they dance in the air,
Till the dawn
Hits the shore.
