Fighting
Arguing.
I hear voices screaming on the top of there lungs
Back and forth.
Kids Crying and begging them to stop.
Hiding.
It's like world war three in this house
They put on a fake smile in of everyone like it's okay
I go to my world and put my headphones in
Hope.
Strength.
Courage.
One day i heard slam and i knew the war was over.

wow -- i absolutely love your ending. metaphorical or not, it definitely left a mark in my mind. it is such a fabulous way to end this type of poem.
this creates not quite a beautiful imagine in my mind, but it is definitely vivid and that's what shows a good author.
check out some of my work, too if you'd like. thx so much for posting this and i look forward to reading more from you.
