Slowly Going the Way of the Machine
Out comes my insides
In comes the machine
The one whom i confide
makes me invisible it seems
Out comes the heart
in comes the machine
I'll rust the levers and pulls
until my machine starts to bleed
No air comes from this metal core
I stand planted, again on this hard frozen floor
I am a consummate master of being invisible
Though it seems, I still can not walk through this door.
