It’s just not the same.
I’m a face with no name.
I live in the shadows.
You bask in the sun.
But still, I just can’t be done.
I’ve loved you since that first day.
We met and you said “hey”.
It wasn’t a lot,
But it made my heart stop.
You say my name.
And my lungs stop working.
Nothing can stop my insides from scorching.
But I know this could never happen.
Nothing could be surer.
She’s the queen of light.
I’m the prince of the darkness.
Forbidden love, not that cool.
Just a beautiful girl and a lovesick fool.
