I feel rejected
And lonely
And stupid
And cruel
I feel sappy
Like crying
A river
Or storm
I feel nauseous
Like I’m sick
My head hurts
My heart aches
I feel foolish
And in pain
Like a punch
In the gut
Then the day
It passes
And I think back
To the start
I feel nothing
Just cold
Like my toes
On a cold day
I don’t feel rejected
And lonely
And stupid
And cruel
I don’t feel sappy
Like crying
A river
Or storm
I don’t feel anything
Nothing at all
Especially when I think
It's all because of you
