I Died the Moment You Said Good-bye
I welcomed you into my heart and soul with complete sincertity
And you destroyed me from the inside out
Slowly, like an infectious disease
By time symptoms reached the surface you were too far gone
The infection too widely spread
Attempts to reverse this curse were feeble and without point
As the sickness approached my heart I began to slip away
However, you had taken my heart along when you left
Leaving nothing for this disease to overtake
Leaving me dead but still breathing
Leaving me forever living alone, regrets' cancer my only company
