The Traveler MAG
The lonesome traveler
Stood on the moon, inside
A swirling sky of
Green.
He gazed down toward
The bottomless sea,
Dropping stars
From his hand
Into the
Starving waves
That ran up the shore and
Devoured
Shimmering moonbeams
And the sand they
Danced upon,
Until all that was left
Was a trail of
His footprints:
A path across the land,
Into the green sky.
He looked below, and
Having no stars left,
Cast pieces of a broken moon
Into the
Black ocean.
