mend my shattered heart
why don’t you see that I need you
i need you to live and breathe
my hear pains when it breaks
so please don’t break mine
“i’m not good enough for you”
perhaps I’m just making excuses
so I can look the other way
and mend my shattered heart
we’re friends yes, best friends
but now that you have broken
my heart I suppose we’re just
better off this way
apart
separate
talking
scarcely
now I just hate seeing you
seeing you choose wrong
it hurts me but it will hurt
you eventually you see
the way she treats you it
makes me want to barf
the way she treats you it
makes me want to slap
her but she makes you
happy so it makes me
happy
it is the best for you
for now
so I will leave it be
go away
and mend my shattered heart
and one day I will come back
and
mend your shattered heart
