Fading now,the settign sun
Shadows creep and crawl through the darkened woods,
No comfort here, just the essence of fear
As the sky is shrowded in black night
Creatures lie in wait

So small, yet so bright in comparison
A single star shines through the shadows
It draws us near to it's welcoming arms

A blanket of light to hide in
Saves us from the lurking dark

this was a class asignment written in the form Walt whitman used

Well written and nice contrast of light and dark. It makes a wonderful metaphor. I better go and check out Walt Whitman's work. Well done!
