Rising of the Sun
I reach out with a pale cold hand
Whimpering, pleading you to come and warm my frozen body
But you do not come instead you turn away like a ghost of despair
And as youretire with the coming of the night the air fills with anguish
Now I sit here cold and wet
As the rain falls down like the tears of my silent sorrow
As I watch the shadow of you fade from sight
Alon I share the gloomy darkness of loss
And as I sit here wollowing in my gloom
The sun rises with the fading of the moon
And there you stand tall and bright
I open my arms and welcome your warm caress
Whith your presence the light of hope seeps to my core
But my hope is false 'cause as much as our love is strong and bright
It shall fade with the presence of the night
