Meeshu
Glistening kiss of day lights dawn,
breaking the silence of yesterday’s memory.
Gentle winds carry her aged whisper,
while green terrace comforts her rest.
Familiar trees weep for the free adventurer,
that held the secrets of their family.
Clouds dance above her head to an unknown destination,
as lapping waters run to a distant current.
A blood red sky has dripped to dappled dark,
The sun has left, it’s not goodbye.
Just a missing presence.
