A petal less rose
Or a diner date a lone
A heart that has froze
From being on its own

The blankets to yourself
The T.V is what you hear
A husky, romantic voice
That whispers in your ear

A dying heart
Alone trying to mend its seams
Still tearing apart
Crushing your foolish dreams

The thirteenth will bring no surprise
A day without romance and passion
You head fogs and tears arise
Another day where your heart took a lashin’
