My Poison Ivy

I remember when you held me
Your caring reached to mine
When you started to let me see
I tried to wrap around you like a vine
The words you said
Made my vine grow stronger
What happened next, made me dead
The leaves of my vine began to change
The pain is gone replaced with anger
The safety from earlier starts to rearrange
Be careful...the vine is emitting danger
My vine is deadly but lively
Boy, watch out for my vine...My Poison Ivy
