Memories That Won't Fade, Memories Not Soon Forgotten
Pikachu and Venu…
VENASAUR!
Hook
Little fingers going scritch scratch
London Bridges falling down,
Wait it was a play set
You taught me there
We made our mark
Well mostly it was you
Now those are gone
Covered up with paint
Noah’s ark with the soft colorful animals has suffered enough
May it now rest in peace
Your talons marked the ceiling
While I burnt myself on the lamp
Bookshelves of poor quality served their purpose
They withstood our reading
They withstood the hundreds of books
They withstood Arthur, Franklin, Hugs, Spying, and Tree houses
Our homemade thrill rides
Jumping from the sky
What a chicken I was then
In a heartbeat I would do it today
Our little sleeping bag pillows
Fifty stuffed animals
Scritch
Scratch
The walls may now be mine
We may have gone our own ways
But the worn windowsill still remembers
It remembers those two mischievous kids
