Living
I miss the days
When the sun kissed the earth
And the moon rose to protect it
I miss the times
When limbs broke
And leaves scrambled to cover it
I miss the way I felt
When I knew what safe was
Before it disappeared beneath the horizon
I miss the seconds
That ticked by
And I was laughing
I miss the minute
You were gone
And wonder why I never called you back
I miss the hours
It took for me to realize
Just how stupid you were making me
I don't miss you
And the way you were
And how it felt to be with you
I miss the life
I would have had
But I will move on, and you will watch
