Erin wants to walk
Erin wants to walk
Erin wants to skip
Erin wants to run into the pool and take a dip
But no, Erin you can not
No Erin your legs can not handle a lot
No Erin I will carry you
No Erin one day you will be able too
Attached at birth to her sister
She is a gift only god could deliver
Her and baby Jade survived
But Erin cant walk and her sister is fine
I’ve met these little girls, I have, I did
Me and my best friends raised money for them
A bingo, bakes sales, the whole Harrah
But still little Erin can not walk
I pray for her legs
And for her and her sisters pain
I pray for a cure
And that the medicine is insured
I have only been a page in her long life
But in mine she will continue to fly
Off the pages
Running along
One day that girl will walk
And the world will be in awe
