Two hands
Finger wrapped around finger
The sweet scent of pomegranate and old spice
Mix underneath the luminous moon overhead
A tress of hair swirling around with the light breeze
Of this never-ending summer night consecutive
Two hands
Firmly grasping one another
A soft palm lying atop
Hoarse & rough knuckles
Breathing out their hard-day’s work
And holding on tight to this memory;
Never letting go…
