Friends Forever
The sight of you tears me apart inside.
The way your dark brown hair is flipped to the side.
The way your eyes reflect the stars when we gaze at the moon.
How you laugh, so full of happiness, not a care in the world.
How your body feels against mine when you hug me.
We fit so perfectly.
But you don't see that do you?
Of course you don't.
Why would you?
We've been friends for years but the longing in my heart never goes away.
One day I finally get up the courage to tell you I love you.
You know what you say?
You said, 'yeah, I love you too, friends forever.'
friends forever?
Isn't it funny how my heart can be jumping up and down in one second and ripped to shreds in the next?
I think it's f-ing hysterical.
But guess what?
I can't handle it anymore.
My heart has been through to much.
Too much pain, sorrow, and grief.
Pain that you caused.
So I'm leaving this letter on you're doorstep.
You'll pass it by for awhile,
figuring you have all the time in the world to read it.
But when you finally do,
it will be too late.
Because as you read these words,
the pills are taking effect.
Not another tear will be shed from my eyes for you.
Oh yes, you'll try to stop it.
you'll try to run to my house,
only a few blocks down.
But it wont do any good.
By the time you get there,
the ambulance I called will already be in front of my house.
You'll shout and cry as I did so many times over you.
You'll ask why?
But I think we both know the answer to that.
So all that's left to say now is Goodbye.
Goodbye Drake,
And always remember,
Friends Forever.
