The Seven Seas MAG
She swallowed up the tidal waves
Before they crashed and collapsed the shores
She wallowed aimlessly in the water's deep
Like an empty glass, wanting more
Treading against treacherous currents
Sighing in deep relief
When she was swept away into the seven seas
The seven C's of grief
Calamity, catastrophe, a “cut” across her wrist
Cursed, yet conscious of the craziness such as this
The last C of them all is the coldness of her soul
Like an empty memory box in a dug-up hole
Drenched in nonexistent tears
Rivulets of woe running down her face
I saw rage in her darkened eyes
But her footprints left no trace
I ask: why do you fight with such fury?
Reluctantly, she answered: This is where I bury
This is where I bury the pain that still resides
Fastened by the fast-paced fallacies found here, deep inside
Seven C's, I tell her
This can be your savior
Yes, there is a vaccine
That can certainly save her
Contentment, courage, comfort in her skin
Colored, calm, and collective; confidence that she will win
Her shoulders erect, emerged a new woman
Instead of reused tissue, she was made of linen
A mirror marked with a miracle
Mental much more than physical
No more lashing, no more clashing
No more endless swims
No more treading these “fair” waters
That boil to its brim
This woman, she taught me dearly
What I never saw quite clearly
The creatures of the seven seas that delve into the deep
Fight to stay alive only when they “sleep”
This woman, now she's aged beyond her tender years
Tenor of a solemn soul, but washed out all her fear
This woman, I realize
Felt close to my being
This woman, I realize
Was actually me whom I was seeing
Seven seas, seven C's, all of which are the same
This woman lies within us all; needless of a name

Incredible! Simply incredible!
This is one of those poems where you can tell that there's a deep message behind it, but you need to go and reread it to see exactly what.
In other words, I'd rather analyze this poem than some of the ones we look at in English class : )
This is super good!
I love the metaphors and flat out scheme and wittiness of this poem.
Keep on writing!
